This metal Warhammer Fantasy Battle miniature appears in the 1991 catalogue as part number 073167/6. It’s a 1989 sculpt as per the tab, though unfortunately I can’t find a single sculptor credit. The mini it appears to be based on was sculpted by Jes Goodwin.
This was one of those miniatures that you get in your hands and realise that there are details which weren’t at all obvious in the catalogue picture; I had no idea he had an exposed brain, and it was only really when it was undercoated that it was clear. Always a pleasure to find unexpected details!
I base coated him with an airbrush – red from below, green from above:

Undercoat: Vallejo Panzer Grey Primer
Green: Kimera Inktensity Alizarin Crimson from below, Acid Green from above
Gold: Necro Gold with Elven Gold as a highlight
Silver: Black Metal with Heavy Metal as a highlight
Rust: Kimera Inktensity Rust
Wood/Leather: Kimera Inktensity Leather, followed by Royal Brown on the leather and Smoke/Sepia on the wood
Base: Soilworks Winter texture paint followed by Mars pigment, then some Dark Mud pigment, and some Reddish Brown
Oil wash over the metal/green: Scale75 Moist Soil, left to sit for half an hour then sponged off
Face: Kimera’s Shiny Skintone and Ivory Light, with a wash of one of the Scale75 oil greens.
Eye: Kimera’s Ivory Light with Intensity Smoke as the pupil.

It looks as though it formed the base sculpt for this later miniature.
