These metal Space Marine bikes weren’t limited to just Space Marines – they appeared in the US catalogues with Imperial Guard miniatures on them as well. In fact, the 1993 US Warhammer 40K catalogue is the only place I can find it right now, though I have seen it elsewhere…

This one still needs the skull gear shift to be added.

Side view of the bare bike, no fairings etc.:

This Rogue Trader-era Imperial Bike for Space Marines and Imperial Guard miniatures was shown as part number 072060/1 in the 1991 Blue catalogue.

This tank came in the RTB8 box and was released in 1989.

Barrel repaired with 3mm brass rod:

More to come once it is painted.
White Dwarf #111 (March 1989) shows it as being released after that Easter, and has a pic:

In White Dwarf #104 there’s a Chapter Approved guide to converting a Rhino:

With the following text:

And even a template!

This is the Imperial Land Raider from August 1988 – released in the RTB5 box (two came in that box) and the RTB11 box (one came in that one).
White Dwarf 104 (Aug ’88) has them for £12.99, available late summer.
It appears in this Kevin Walker piece shown in White Dwarf #126:

White Dwarf 170 (Feb 1994) states that it’s a new release as a boxed set for £12.99. Was it discontinued for a spell? Or is that just a re-release? As shown in WD170:

This is the best condition one I could find locally; it’s missing a few parts, unfortunately.

It’s also in need of a good clean and strip. Somewhat stripped:

The struts for the ram bar at the front were positioned incorrectly (plastic glue’d on, no less, so they had to be cut off) which prevented the greeble on the front with the struts from attaching properly.

After they were cut off the front greeble was attached and I made some of the struts out of two diameters of styrene round tube (larger one is hollow to go against the side):

I used a door off the newer Land Raider Proteus kit (the same as the other modern Land Raiders, iirc) and used some plasticard and plastic rod to make a viewslit, rivets and hinges:

A lot more to go, but it’s looking better bit by bit!

This is the Rogue Trader-era Space Marine jump pack (or jet pack). I haven’t found these in a catalogue yet! I also don’t know who sculpted it or when.
