Cypher was a metal Warhammer 40K Space Marine 1998 sculpt by Mike McVey, as per the 2000 catalogue. Oldhammer? Considered so by some!

He’s one of the Fallen Dark Angels, and this particular mini is missing one of his gun arms and the Lion’s sword on his back.

This is one of the 3rd. Ed. onward Space Marine backpack sprues. No idea who sculpted this!

This Warhammer 40K 2nd. Edition piece of terrain was called the Imperial Guard Command Tower, and was part number 99 22 01 99 004.

To be opened…

One of our small rocks base designs painted again – this time from somewhere very cold. Focusing on light blue and white, the idea is to make them look like crushed and broken ice and snow.

Undercoat: Vallejo Mecha Black
Base Coat: Baharroth Blue, twice over
Dry: 50/50 Baharroth Blue, Vallejo Model Color Cold White
Dry: Vallejo Cold White
Rocks: Base Night Lords Blue
Layer: 50/50 Night Lords Blue / Dark Reaper
Contrast: Basilicanum Grey
Edge Highlight: Dry Praxeti
Stipple Rock: Dry Praxeti
Rim: Army Painter Matt Black

This is one of our small rock base designs, this time with black and dark red as the focus to give it a volcanic/obsidian look.

No mini for this one; some wooden boards and a blood filled goblet. Our design for the base and greeble.

This is the plastic kit I’m using in some old Rogue Trader and 2nd. Ed. games.
Still pondering which Land Speeder pilot to use – the RT or 2E one…
