This metal Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader miniature is a Squat Servitor. It was a 1988 Bob Olley sculpt.
He is shown in the 4011 Adeptus Mechanicus section of the catalogue pages as part number 401105.
Painted April 2026. He ended up being an absolute joy to paint – a really nice balance of detail with a lot of little interesting textures.
Paints used:
- Black/Grey: Kimera’s Carbon Black and The White mixed
- Leather: Kimera’s Oxide Brown Medium
- Red: Kimera’s The Red
- Yellow: Kimera’s Yellow Ochre. Beard washed with thin Oxide Brown Medium
- Skintone: The Red + Yellow Ochre + The White mixed, Oxide Brown Medium added for shading
- Silver: Scale75’s Metal n Alchemy Black Metal
- Wash: Scale75 Oil Moist Soil
