This Rogue Trader Space Marine was Capt. Huron Grimm initially, and seen as Chainsword 2, part number 070119/36 in the 1991 catalogue. He’s a Bob Naismith sculpt from 1987.

Marked as GW 87 on the back – nothing on the front on this guy.

This guy was down as Marine Medic Kribins early on, then Marine Medic Kyle, and in the 1991 catalogue he’s Medic with Carnifex 070133/68. He’s a Bob Naismith sculpt.

This chap was called Brother Quiff or Brother Lustgarten, depending on which flyer/catalogue you’re looking at. He was Bolter 12, part number 070106/7 in the 1991 catalogue. He’s a Bob Naismith sculpt.

It looks as though there may have been something on the tab, but it’s gone now.

This Rogue Trader Space Marine went by Brother Stalker and was a Bob Naismith sculpt.

He has an unusual set of proportions in his beaky helm – making him look more mouse-y than most!

This Rogue Trader Space Marine is shown as Brother A Skull originally and Brother Dixon later on. In the 1991 catalogue he’s shown as part number 070121/49. He’s a Bob Naismith sculpt and there was nothing useful on the tab, unfortunately.

The RT01 range of Space Marines were all sculpted by Bob Naismith.
The RT01 minis shown in the Astronomican also includes the C100 Space Marines from the pre-Rogue Trader era, with the exclusion of the captain.

The first RT01 list shown in White Dwarf #93 only shows A Skull, Leanman, Longun, Quiff, Orinoco, Dedmole, Dimshade, Stalker, Kribins, Lowbroe, Froth and Ex-Brother – Angst and Huron Grimm are not shown.
The names changed over time; the Sept. 1987 list names all became somewhat more sensible by the time the RT01 range was shown in the Astronomican in Feb 1988.

Space Marines are today the most recognisable Warhammer 40K faction, and they were certainly popular back in the Rogue Trader era as well.
Games Workshop had been testing out the general appearance of what were to be Space Marines years prior to Rogue Trader’s release in 1987 – see the C100 Imperial Marines and LE2 Imperial Space Marine releases. That aesthetic morphed into the first official Warhammer 40K Space Marines releases.
A variety of sculptors worked on the range in this period, including Bob Naismith, Aly Morrison, Jes Goodwin and Mark Copplestone. Trish Carden also made a Space Marine sculpt in this period for the Talisman Timescape board game expansion.
All of the Marines in the September 1987 and Feb 1988 releases were sculpted by Bob Naismith, where the RT101 flyer had Marines sculpted by Aly Morrison and Mark Copplestone. Speaking of Mark Copplestone, he was busy in 1988 – that year he sculpted the Chaplains and Techmarines into being.
From ~1990 on it seems to be primarily Jes Goodwin working on the range.

This is a miniature I can’t find in the catalogues. It’s a Bob Olley Iron Claw psyker. It has 1989 on the back of the tab.

White Dwarf #116 (August 1989) has a conversion of him:

There’s another angle of the same conversion in White Dwarf #124:

This Bob Olley sculpt was an Iron Claw psyker, though I am having trouble finding him in the catalogues.
